A tech-related lesson from the past few weeks has me rethinking the lessons I learned during my previous tech-in-law career.
I’ve always been taught that people get along well, and that they will get along with anyone who is not a jerk.
And I thought this lesson had a lot of merit.
But it’s not that simple.
In this lesson, we’ll examine how people will react to a problem, even if it’s a seemingly simple problem.
We’ll learn to see problems as obstacles to solving, and we’ll learn that, for the most part, people will respond well to solutions that make people more comfortable.
This lesson is all about making the most of the technology that is available to us, and understanding how people can get along without it.
If you’re just getting started in your tech career, you might want to skip this lesson and head to one of the other three lessons.
