That’s because technical drafts are a unique form of writing that is not usually taught.
Instead, they’re a skill learnt by students who have studied a particular discipline, such as software development or digital media design.
These students are given a set of basic tasks, such to produce a document, create an interactive graphics application or build a website.
They also learn to write in the style of the author, which helps them to communicate ideas more effectively and get the word out more effectively.
It can be quite an undertaking, but the reward is great.
